A month ago, I set out on a sexual shamanic pilgrimage to the holy city of Jerusalem. The result: A deep reclamation of my soul. If it sounds dramatic, it’s because it is. 

Since today is my first day back from Israel, it is too soon to say what the lasting affects will be, but as a perpetual work-in-progress, I am eager to share some of the shimmering gems I picked up along my path.

If you haven’t heard, in the last few years, I’ve been suffering from Insomnia, anxiety, and intense seizures. This collection of debilitating symptoms make up a condition called Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD.) I’ve surrounded myself with a wide community of holistic healers who’ve worked on every dimension to help me cope with my irrational stress response. In addition to western medical tests, diet, exercise, supplements and therapy, I started using deep shamanic tools for soul retrieval.   

From a shamanic perspective, trauma is considered any event that is more than the soul can handle, so it seeks safety by leaving the body. In psychology this process is known as dissociation. The soul often doesn’t know when the trauma has passed or when it is safe to return, so a Shamanic soul retrieval is sometimes necessary to reclaim a piece of your essence that might be frozen, lost, or even stolen. It’s frustrating not to know the exact cause of my trauma. I have tons of miserable memories, but can’t pin-point a defining experience of childhood rape, sexual abuse or any other specific time when a piece of my soul fled my body. And yet, I also cannot recall a time in which I felt safe to be fully in the world of form. As far back as I can remember, I have had one foot on the earth and the other foot ready to escape into the spirit realm. I’ve always straddled two worlds. But instead of being fully welcome in each, I recently felt stuck between both. 

When I turned 40, something strange started to happen. I started hearing a voice. It wasn’t a deep booming voice from the clouds or a still small whisper from within. It just sounded like me. It was not my personality, an aspect of my mind, or some extraterrestrial entity. It was my soul speaking to me. It moved through me with a distinct resonance of truth. Hearing it did not make me somehow superior or enlightened. The voice was not all-knowing. In fact, it often said: “I don’t know.” So this struck me not so much a revelation, but a sign that I was re-connecting to my soul.

One night, before my trip to Israel, this voice woke me up and demanded that I re-dedicate myself to learning, not from any external teacher, but from my own soul.

My outer journey through Israel took me to the Dead sea, the Western wall, ancient tunnels, fresh water springs and salt caves. I camped by the Jordan River, rode along the Sea of Galilee and hiked through the hills of Jerusalem. The trip culminated in my co-facilitating ISTA’s (International School of Temple Art’s) Level 1: The Spiritual Sexual Shamanic Experience with Ohad Ezrahi and Dawn Cheri. And then I was spontaneously called to extend my trip to deepen my studies with Bruce Lyon as he led ISTA’s Level 2: The initiation. 

My inner journey was far richer than I could ever describe. It involved rituals, visions, erotic trance and divine revelations. Through eye gazing, truth telling and shamanic journeying, with Jews, Christians, and Arabs alike, my soul recognized itself again and again in the reflection of my tribe.

Some gems from my harvest include: My animal self facing her resistance to death. My little girl reclaiming the power she had lost during early religious damage. My sister-self releasing competition and comparison with other women. My lover-self letting go of the need to control and possess anyone else’s genitals. My mother-self embracing her deep and wise animal instinct. My inner masculine re-committing to presence and truth. My temple priestess re-dedicating herself to awakening the collective. And finally, my soul reminding me why I am here. To bring back temples where we are free to worship with our whole bodies! 

I am feeling immense gratitude to this mysterious tantric path which keeps weaving with the paths of many other powerful beings who are practicing embodied enlightenment. I hope you are called to play in our field as I continue to integrate these teachings in San Diego and expand on this journey at my next ISTA level 1 training in Hawaii, January 7-13, 2016 with Ohad Ezrahi and Robert Silber!

What does animal activism have to do with love? EVERYTHING. When you wake up and realize that love is the unseen force that connects all life, you may realize what Charles Darwin meant when he said:

“The love for all living creatures is the most noble attribute of man.”

 I will spare the graphic photos, because well-intended, open-hearted people seem to slam their hearts shut at the sight of baby cows in chains, beaks being burnt off of chicks, and pregnant pigs pressed against cages. Images of animal abuse are heartbreaking, I know, but that’s no excuse to close our minds to the facts: Americans consume 4 times the amount of animal protein than the global average, and 99% of the meat in US comes from Factory Farms.

In America, our dollars count more than our vote, so every time we buy meat, we are sponsoring this cruel industrial complex. If vegetarianism is not an option for you, for any reason, at least, please, consider taking the slaughterhouses off the payroll for one day. If you agree, please help me raise awareness by “liking” and “sharing” facts about how meat consumption affects: our environment, our health or our four-legged & feathered friends–who don’t have a voice– and need us to vote on their behalf.

November is my favorite month for creativity because the Holiday craze has not yet swept me away, and this weather makes it easy to stay at home with my computer and a warm cup of tea. So I’ve enrolled again in a national writing movement called NaNoWriMo. But instead of working on a novel like I did last year with 52 Fridays with My Bitch, I am in high production of a series of new books, including one that will be published Nov. 25th…Mark your Calendar for the Birth of…

… Sacred Slut Sutras!

…I promise to send an official announcement the moment it launches on Amazon, along with a shameless plea to help me realize my dream of becoming a bestselling author.

So to celebrate, I want to share three fun things I do to help me get my creativity flowing, followed by my personal sharing about what’s happening in my love life this month:

1. Talk it out 

When I feel stuck, and need a shortcut through my creative constipation, I will call a friend and say: “Hey I’m working on a problem and could really use a sounding board … are you available for that? Most of my friends are delighted to help, and sometimes it even helps to listen to myself while talking to their answering machines. The best thing about working from home is that my husband and I can go on brisk daily walks, away from our desks, into nature, to get a fresh perspective.

2. Draw 30 Circles

Take a piece of paper and draw 30 circles on the paper. Now, set your timer for 60 seconds and adapt as many circles as you can into objects. For example, one circle could become a wagon wheel. Another could become the sun. (Go for quantity over quality.) You don’t have to be original or brilliant, just have fun for one minute…. How did you do?! (This creativity exercise is featured in Tim Brown’s TED talk Creativity and Play and is originally from researcher Bob McKim.)

3. Emotional Release 

Pounding pillows or crying may not sound fun to you, but there’s no denying that creativity is directly related to our emotional body and I always feel most creative after a catharsis. The key is to not get caught up in any stories. Let the emotion flow like water and if the mind wants to loop, just focus on the sensations streaming through the body. It’s also important to create a safe space, I have learned the hard way that not everyone feels safe around strong emotion, so I like to shut myself in a back room where no one can hear me, or even go to a park to cry.

Now back to my regularly-scheduled personal shares for the month:

In addition to birthing my new book: the Sacred Slut Sutras, my girlfriend Roxanne and I had a blast one Friday thinking up all kinds of crazy cartoons for Vol. 2 which will be called Polyamory Pearls and is scheduled to launch on Valentine’s Day 2016.  

Ever since I’ve been back from Jerusalem, I’ve been surprised to be connecting with my lovers more from my upper chakras. Meditations, conversations and shared visioning have taken the place of sexual touch, for now  Which is ironic, because with my new nutrition, exercise and trauma-release plan, I am feeling more embodied than ever. Don’t you love the surprising ebbs and flows in the river of life!? Of course I’ve also been enjoying play time with a certain magical 8-year-old ninja!  

Many friends, lovers, and fans have been asking when I am going to resume mentoring and leading events? Right now all I can say is that I am loving the writers life and that I’m looking for ways to leverage my teachings so that I can continue creating in the new year. Do you have plans for 2016? By the way, the Mulberry tree that we planted in her honor has been in full fruit for over a month! This is a shocking natural phenomena because it is so young and the tree right next to it is decidedly NOT thriving. As such, I feel blessed every morning to go out and get a handful of blackberries in honor of her and all my spiritual teachers who’ve paved the way for such a liberated life!

After the new year, I will start more group courses for writers and other artists. So let me know if you want a creative kick-in-the ass. Also considering taking PolyPalooza to Jamaica or Mexico over spring break. I look forward to exploring deeper with you then!

“Today is the best day ever!”

• 10. My 40th birthday.

With the help of 8 lovers, I indulged in every manner of pleasure, from vegan strip clubs, to Beltaine blood rites under the waterfalls of Portland. During this wild lover’s retreat, Michael McClure genuflected with his guitar, playing an original song as he presented me with a second wedding ring. (The first one he and Devin found at the hot springs, shortly, after we decided to renew our marriage.) Also for my birthday, my parents gave me an all expense paid trip to Tony Robbin’s Date with Destiny in Boca Raton, which is where I am now, while writing this letter. My birthday gift to myself was a week-long retreat in the woods of Canada for ISTA’s Spiritual Sexual Shamanic Experience with Crystal Dawn Morris, Laurie Handlers and Frank Mondeose…Yummmm!

In January I officiated an intimate tantric ceremony for Talyaa Liera and DaveDonatiu , on the cliff overlooking the ocean at Sunset, with Baba Dez Nichols on one side and my beloved Michael on the other. Next, I had the honor of being a Bridesmaid and reading poetry at Charles Muir and Christy Rose Muir wedding amongst the redwoods of Santa Cruise. Then my beloveds Roxanne DePalma and Daniel had an outrageous love ceremony for over 200 people, which I co-officiated with Marc Gafni. The festivities included a sexy after party and unforgettable variety show where Jesse Norton spontaneously proposed to Jennifer Gold. So the final knot was tied last month at a gathering of intimate friends dressed in full steampunk fashion.

I went on a month long journey to Jerusalem to celebrate my brother Ohad’s 50th Birthday. My Pilgrimage started on Yom Kippur with a camping trip on Jordan river with Tiki Adler Raz and Zeev Adler. Then I reunited my ISTA family for the Sex & Consciousness Conference. In addition to leading one of my largest sexual play parties, and trying my hand at stand-up comedy for the first (and possibly last) time, I also got to speak in public venues around Tel Aviv. Then a glorious week of co-facilitating Level 1 with Ohad Ezrahi and Dawn Cherie, followed by a spontaneous decision to stay an extra week to study with Bruce Lyon and Assist with Level 2. I’m astounded by the healing and magic that showed up during daily rituals in the caves, fresh water springs and salt sea. I experienced an indescribable encounter with my own soul, as well as witnessing the awakening of so many international brothers and sisters.

• 2. Writing & Publishing!

OK, I admit, I may have been a tad overambitious with my goal to publish 3 books this year, but (…Drumroll Please…) The Sacred Slut Sutras will be available on Amazon this Winter Solstice! And the illustrations by Francois Dubeau breathtaking! Also, I’m drooling with anticipation as Vol. 2: Poly Pearls which is due to come out around Valentines 2016. Additionally, co-authoring the forthcoming, Pleasure Bible, with Marc Gafni has rewoven my internal relationship to pleasure and we are about a third of the way there! Lastly, Roxanne and I spent more time writing cartoons for Poly Pearls, than content for 52 Fridays with My Bitch, but we are still diligent when it comes to field research and fantasy play on Fridays!

• 1. Joining ISTA Faculty.

After teaching, hosting and leading ISTA events for about a decade, in the holy hills outside of Jerusalem, I was welcomed as ISTA’s newest faculty member, and It feels like coming home. After all, this is the tantric family that raised me. The book that I co-authored with Baba Dez is currently in the process of being translated into Spanish and Portuguese. I am blown open by the power of Bruce Lyon’s teachings and honored to be co-facilitating the “Spiritual Sexual Shamanic Experience, Level 1” in Ängsbacka, Sweden this coming summer! (Mark your Calendar: August 8, 2016 – August 14, 2016 contact Lin Holmquist for info: rymdsyster@hotmail.com) I don’t know what other profound alchemy will be cooked up this year, but I am certain it will be big, since I am committed to taking these deep teachings around the world. Hello World!

Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes! Upon returning home from 2 spectacular weeks in Paradise, Michael and I found ourselves knee-deep in a family legal issue. As tempting as it is to raise awareness about the struggles of our alternative lifestyle, I will hold my rant until the case officially closes next month.

What I can say is that 2016 has provided a string of opportunities for me to practice my new year’s intention: Keep my sprits high when external circumstances are challenging. (This is what Version2 calls, “empowered despite circumstance” or in the words of Tony Robbin’s “Maintain a beautiful state, no matter what!”) Forgive me for bragging, but I seem to be kicking ass! Here’s a quick list of the tests I recently rocked:
While enjoying my New Year’s dinner, a tooth fell out. It was a surreal experience to look down and see a gold crown sitting in my salad. Then I spent the day nursing my co-teacher who contracted Dengue Fever in Thailand.  Within a few days, I lost my phone, broke my computer and had to find a new location to practice tantra with approx 40 participants who enrolled in one of our week-long Spiritual Shamanic Sexual Experience retreat (ISTA Level 1.) It turned out to be nothing short of mind-blowing!

When I add it up, however, the list of challenges pales in comparison to the blessings. I’m delighted to be back in San Diego with my fully upgraded husband. Watching him with his long distance lover
Ria, shinning so brightly at the ISTA retreat, made me to fall in love all over again! Except now, it’s not just a polarized marriage between the two of us, but a fully activated system where his inner feminine and masculine (both wounded and healed) are consciously interacting with all 4 of my inner masculine and feminine aspects. If it sounds complex, I assure you that it is a lot simpler to make the unconscious conscious, than to play these dramas out in the shadows of our psyche. And the challenge remains, how can we maintain a beautiful state in any and all circumstances? I’m thinking about taking a 30 day challenge to practice being unconditionally positive…who’s with me?

So what’s new for me this year?
After a year long healing journey, I realize that my body needs more healing. (I’ll be writing details, soon.) So, my sabbatical will be partially extended, I’m still enthusiastic about 3 big book projects, and occasionally traveling to exotic places to teach with my ISTA tribe and of course I’m cooking up an extravagant week long PolyPalooza (in Jamaica!) however, I plan to reduce the number of speaking engagements and clients I take on this year. Do you want to consciously shape your destiny? According to Mahatma Gandhi:

“Your beliefs become your thoughts, Your thoughts become your words, Your words become your actions, Your actions become your habits, Your habits become your values, Your values become your destiny.”

I first started challenging myself to monthlong challenges, not so much for personal growth but as a part of my spiritual discipline. My first yoga teacher taught me about the importance of having a daily practice and introduced me to the middle path. He taught everything moderation, “even in excess.” Years later my Tantra teacher warned me not to become attached to spiritual practices and a daily discipline can be a type of addiction. I believe this teaching is why Tantra is often referred to as the “pathless path.” I learned to devote myself to a practice until I had it deep in my body and then switch it out for a new practice, often on the new moon.

Through the years, I’ve taken dozens of  30 day challenges (actually 28 days) with mixed results. Only recently it has become a growing trend in popular culture.  Scientists argue about whether it takes 21 days or 90 to form a good habit but they agree that it takes even longer to break a bad one. Regardless, I’ve found these challenges can be a profound training ground for creating lasting change.

You can learn more about the 30 day challenge movement by reading Steve Pavlina’s website or watching this fun and brief (3 min) TED Talk:Try something new for 30 days by Matt Cutts who advocates that small challenges are more sustainable than drastic ones.

Perhaps the most extreme 30 day challenge was taken by Morgan Spurlock in the award winning documentary: Super Size Me. In 2003, he conducted an experiment in which he ate three McDonald’s meals per day for 30 days. Personally, I prefer challenges that help me become a better person, but I suppose his sacrifice was justified by the awareness it raised for the health and well being of the rest of humanity.

In March 2015 I took the challenge of capturing one photo of a flower per day, and posting it on Facebook. Perhaps this was one of my most successful challenges because of the social accountability. 

Following is a list of some of the other 30 day challenges that I’ve tried, some of them take up to 90 minutes and some as little as five minutes a day. The key is to tell your friends, journal about your progress and if you miss a day, simply re-commit and do it the following morning.

A whole new month is about to begin–which one are you drawn to:

1. Journaling, (Morning Pages: 3 page minimum.)
2. Meditation (20 minutes of TM.)
3. Reading (1 chapter per day.)
4. Yoga at home  (Minimum: 12 Sun Salutations per day.)
5. Hot Yoga (Many studios have a discount for their 30 day challenge)
6. Daily Forgiveness practice (Ho’oponopono chant and meditation)
7. Perform a Fire Ritual
8. Media-fast where you don’t watch TV (or Netflix) for 30 days
9. Rewrite your goals each day
10. Take time to practice self compassion and self-love (Shawn Roop wrote a great book on 28 days to self love)
11. Write positive affirmations.
12. Write a to do list and/or plan your day
13. Write your dreams down in a journal each morning
14. Learn to lucid dream
15. Write a novel in November (50,000 word minimum, check out: Nanowrimo.com)
16. Go for a run
17. Take a walk
18. Jump in the ocean daily
19. Keep a nightly gratitude list
20. Go money free or live on a strict budget for a month.
21. Byron Katie Turn arounds each day to really examine your limiting beliefs
22. Learn a new vocabulary word every day
23. Go vegetarian
24. Go vegan
25. Cut out the caffeine for a month
26. Refrain from drugs, alcohol, and/or sugar
27. Pick one bad habit you already have and stop it for 30 days
28. No gossiping for 30 days (I did this challenge while working with an ashram, my spiritual teacher at the time, proposed a consequence of 24 hours of silent retreat every time I broke my commitment.)
29. Go without a car, learn to bike/walk/carpool
30. Learn a new vocabulary word

Here are some other 30 day challenges which I honestly, have no intention of doing, but they might call to you:

1. Stop social media or go internet free for a month.
2. Spend 30 days eating raw food.
3. Do a brain training puzzle a day like sudoku, crosswords or something from lumosity.
4. Take a nap.
5. Learn a new magic trick a day.
6. Knit a scarf in a month
7. Face a new fear every day … push yourself put of your comfort zone
8. Talk to one stranger each day
9. Research a different religion or philosophy every day for a month.
10. Practice (at least) one completely selfless act each day

Here are some other 30 day challenges which I look forward to trying, perhaps in 2016:

1. Read 1 poem per day
2. Write a poem
3. Learn a new language
4. Watch a Ted Talk
5. Learn a new instrument
6. Write a love letter and send it to a new person
7. Go without talking for a month or visit a silent retreat.
8. Cooking:  Try a new recipe each day
9. Draw a picture
10. Learn to paint

Next month I invite you to join me for a 30 day challenge. Personally, I’m excited to take on an extra challenging challenge which I have attempted 2 times before without success:

 I hereby declare that for the month of February 2016, I will “stop suffering.” According to Tony Robbins suffering is a state of mind. It occurs when someone has a negative focus and it is a type of self obsession about how the universe happening to you, instead of for you. Suffering is a choice. So I commit to focus on the positive instead. I will not complain, blame or bitch for the entire moth. I will not say anything negative about anyone.  Even when things go wrong, I resolve to practice looking for the positive and making the most of every situation.

Even though I consider myself a highly positive person, I’ve been surprised that this is one of the most difficult 30 day challenges I’ve ever taken. As much as I love to practice affirmations, gratitude lists and give compliments, negative sentence seem to slip out. I also happen to be a highly emotional woman who loses control of her thoughts/feelings when triggered, stressed or challenged. So this month, I resolve to double down on the appreciations and lighten up on all things that stress me.

Tell your friends, keep a journal, and if you fail or forget for a day, just pick yourself up, brush yourself off and dive in as soon as possible.

What does the SSSEx Intensive Involve?

I LOVE living in a free country. I celebrate my freedom of speech to the fullest extent possible. Admittedly, I even I like to push the edges. As a sex educator, performance artist, and author, I think it’s important to question the lines of appropriateness.

So I suppose it wasn’t such a shock when Amazon flagged my new book as an “adult theme” and will not promote it on their site. (They published it, but censored it from showing up when searched.) When I called to inquire if there was a specific requirement or community guidelineI that I was breaking, they said that somebody at Amazon flagged the book as inappropriate and there was no way to un-flag it unless I re-published a whole new edition of the book with a new cover and ISBN number.

The truth is: I’m not against censorship.  I am constantly censoring violence, slander and misinformation, especially in my role as mother, public figure and even theater director. Censorship is simply “the suppression of speech, public communication or other information which may be considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, politically incorrect or inconvenient as determined by governments, media outlets, authorities or other groups or institutions.” So, I don’t blame Amazon. As a private entity, they are entitled to promote or sell whatever they want. They are simply exercising their right to discern what content they chose to promote. Point in fact, despite the controversy, I am grateful that Amazon does not carry such title as The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure and cockfighting magazine, The Game Cock. 

The funny thing is that when I personally selected my favorite piece of Art piece by François Dubeau to be the cover for my new book of sutras, I never imagined this would happen. I knew it was provocative, but subversive and offensive–never! I specifically selected a piece that I thought would appeal to the mainstream. I avoided some of the more risqué pieces of erotic art that involved full frontal nudity, domination or whips. And the joke is that if I posed naked for the cover and had the same cartoon dot covering my nipple, it would probably be considered appropriate.

So this whole censorship fiasco threw a big monkey wrench in my dream to become an Amazon bestseller. But my new plan is to publish a 2nd edition with a more modest, but equally sexy new cover.  And I will take this opportunity to try to sell more books while educating people about “slut shaming.”

According to Wikipedia, Slut–shaming is a form of social stigma applied to people, especially women and girls, who are perceived to violate traditional expectations for sexual behaviors.

Hello World!

What if I told you I had no lowlights this month? Would I be lying? Or just thinking positive? Every day this month I observed my thoughts and systematically turned around my negative beliefs. It’s been a practice of redirecting my focus and upgrading my meaning making machine.

For the first few weeks, I was fierce! I’d make lists of wins, appreciations and blessings by the dozens. I challenged myself (and 69 friends in my FaceBook group) to accept every problem as an opportunity.  I did GREAT… during the daytime. But at night….I was plagued with nightmares and negative thoughts.  The moment I let my conscious guard down, my subconscious shadow crept in. The more I kept up the practice though, the more my reality started shifting. There was a certain sweetness and humor that pervaided my existence, eventually it started to seep into my dreamtime.

Open Marriage Update:

It didn’t hurt that I was sleeping in the arms of my beloved husband, who was simultaneously writing me love letters every night before bed as his 30 day challenge. This devotional practice has been known to open the heart as much as prayer or meditation. His discipline has made an unshakable impact on our connection! (If you want to read his best love letter, don’t miss my P.S)

Forgive me for gushing about my marriage, but for our 14 year anniversary (on Valentines) we took a pleasure trip to the bay area to indulge in 3 nights of kinky-queer-sex-positive theater! Here is a picture of me hanging out with Birthday Girl Dossie Easton (co-author of Ethical Slut) at the Bawdy Storytelling show where Michael performed with Reid Mihalko and other sex Geeks!

Creativity Update:

I came home re-inspired to direct a “gender-bending” show with Tantra Theater this spring!  Currently I’m still working on the re-released of my new book with a NEW cover after Amazon censored my book for showing nipples!  And I am finalizing the details on 26 original cartoons for Vol. 2: Polyamory Pearls. I don’t understand why self publishing doesn’t get as many accolades and kudos as getting published when producing and marketing one’s own book actually takes twice as much work as writing it! Poly Update:

Now back to deep matters of the heart…. I’ve been talking so much about my husband this Valentines, I wouldn’t want anyone to forget I have a full love life! This is a fun picture of me and my sexy bitch, Roxanne. Fridays continue to be our special time together which truly nourish us both.  Because she is in a conscious relationship transition with one of her other girlfriends, it tugs on the entire web of heart-strings and has made our date time a little wonky… it’s nothing we haven’t been through before, it’s a good kind of wonky, like a growing pain. My other lovers, Cheri and Viraja just celebrated their birthdays and I’ve been maintaining several cyber flirtations and have one full blown Skype affair.

Health Update:

The support from all my lovers keeps my spirit from suffering over some of my material challenges. I don’t mean to deny or avoid the gravity of what I’m dealing with, but since I have not gotten the official letter that formally closes a recent claim against my family, I will table that disclosure for now. And I will take this moment to share a bit about my health challenges, instead.

My doctor will be doing deeper diagnostics next month, but I am currently in Phase 1 treatment of Biotoxin Illness. Which is a type of chronic inflammation that can cause certain psychiatric symptoms. Which may explain my recent rendezvous with PTSD. Biotoxins also cause imbalances in regulatory hormones such as melatonin, endorphins and cortisol. As a busy culture we know all too well the affects of cortisol “the stress hormone,” but did you know that low melatonin makes it hard to sleep, and low endorphins make everything hurt more? Ouch.

Feeling huge gratitude for all my holistic therapies and expert counseling. Fortunately my treatment involves a refreshing change in diet, lifestyle and fun new detox methods. Want to guess what my next 30 day challenge will be? Drumroll… Daily sweats!  And my beloved Michael bought me a new sauna, just for this occasion!
